Best Assessed is a boutique psychology practice that focus exclusively on undertaking assessments.  We work with clients from six years of age through to adulthood. The practice is owned and operated by Sandy Wilkinson, a highly experienced and compassionate clinical psychologist, with more than twenty years of experience.

We undertake assessments to:

• Identify why a child is struggling in one or more academic areas.

​

• Diagnose Specific Learning Disorders, including difficulties with literacy (dyslexia), numeracy (dyscalculia) and written language skills (language based dysgraphia).

• Investigate eligibility for special examination arrangements with School Curriculum and Standards Authority.

​

• Assess intellectual ability and academic performance in those children showing signs of intellectual giftedness, who may wish to apply for inclusion in enrichment or acceleration programs.

• Identify Intellectual Disabilities

• Assess for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
